Drowp was our attempt at reshaping the payments landscape in developing countries.

The vision was simple: make it possible to pay for services like Netflix, Spotify, Amazon, and more using mobile money wallets like MTN MoMo, M-Pesa, and others no credit or debit card required.

Just like Visa unlocked online payments for traditional banks, Drowp aimed to do the same for mobile money.

Drowp was about making online payments native to Africa, not borrowed from elsewhere.
